Upgrade Info

Upgrades are permanent modifications of base zoids into a different platform entirely. This means, once you get the zoid upgraded, there's no going back unless you buy a new one.

All upgrades increase the level of the zoid- as a matter of fact, all of them upgrade the zoid's level to level 4, except for the Iron Kong MkII upgrade, which makes the zoid a level 5.

Upgrades are rather simple; if you already have a permanent upgrade on your zoid, you can't get one. If your zoid is weapons-evolved, you can't get one. Each upgrade may increase, decrease, or ignore the capabilities of the old chassis. Of course, there is some fuzziness, but all can be solved through common sense and this guide below.

The Iron Kong MkII can:

Not equip the Hiblit
Not equip the Tri-barreled Grenade Launcher
Not equip the Zeus' Charge
Not equip the Maneuver Thruster Pack, since it comes with one
The Neo Warshark Upgrade can:
Equip the Hellbreaker

The Storm Sworder GST Upgrade can:

Now equip the Wings of Redemption
Now equip the Stealth Arrows
Not equip the Demon Mod Pack
Equip the Valkyrie Cannons
Equip the Concealed Laser Machine Guns

The Leomaster Upgrade can:

Not equip the Assault Gatling Unit
Not equip the Twin Beam Cannons, since it already comes with a souped-up version
Not equip the Dual Light Vulcans
Not equip the Light Vulcans
Not equip the Surface-To-Air Missiles
Not equip the Surface-To-Surface Missiles
Not evolve into a Blade Liger
Equip the Strike Laser Claw
Equip the Dracula's Kiss

The Gun Sniper LT can:

Not equip the Finger of God
Not equip the Wild Weasel Unit, since it already comes with one
Not equip the Sleipner Unit
Not equip the Dual Light Vulcans
Not equip the Light Vulcans
Not equip the Surface-To-Air Missiles
Not equip the Surface-To-Surface Missiles
Not evolve into a Snipe Master
